    AXIL COFFEE ROASTERS BRANDING

    Seed were asked by the much respected David Makin & Zoe Delaney to create a logotype and packaging solution for the new Melbourne based Axil Coffee Roasters (Hawthorn). Axil opened recently and has received much praise in what is undoubtedly a crowded coffee marketplace. We wish them every success and congratulate them on all the hard work finally paying off! Photos stolen from google images from nice melbourne bloggers. if they are yours let us know and we will credit/remove.

    WOODEN TOY QUARTERLY

    WOODEN TOY QUARTERLY was a magazine concept conceived by Seed's Creative Director, Chris Meyer. The concept was then shared with, and refined in partnership with the brilliant Timba Smits (UK).  Although no longer actively involved, Chris to this day retains 50% ownership of the publication with Timba. Wooden Toy was edited by Chris until Issue 05. The current issue is the Music Edition. Wooden Toy is still a 'one of a kind publication', true to its roots and our shared vision. Congratulations Timba for carrying on the legacy and a great  job to all of the artists and illustrators. Check out more images and order here

    Thanks to Chris Nolan over at the always awesome Lost at Eminor superblog for spotting that we are close to the drop on Contains Caffeine issue 01. He mentions that it is from the founders of Wooden Toy Quarterly  -  which is half correct. Co-Founder Timba still runs Wooden Toy Quarterly as of issue 05 forward and Ex Wooden Toy Quarterly Editor, Chris Meyer, has now started Contains Caffeine.
